Our medical informatics leads can anticipate some organizational changes coming to AHS's Information Technology department.
Where the organization has been well served by IT structures aligned with specific health information systems, zones or facilities, the move to a fully integrated provincial clinical information system requires a different structure. Accordingly, some re-aligning will promote sustainable support for provincial programs and for the Connect Care initiative.
