We are informed that Epic and third party information services that constitute the Connect Care clinical information system will undergo major infrastructure transitions on May 7, 2019.
This is a bigger shift than we've seen to date, as it involves movement of systems from temporary server hardware to the fail-over redundant data centres specifically established for Connect Care. Systems, such as the Nuance dictation products, will also need to be configured to point to the new server locations. Accordingly, third party systems can be affected by changes to Epic systems.
Please be aware of this date and avoid demonstrations or live presentations May 7 and the first few days post-shift.
